Our Story
I was trimming bushes in the front yard of my house in the midst of a cloudy afternoon eight years ago when my wife burst out of the front door. She was horrified, unable to breath and completely in shock. She was vomiting and crying at the same time. As I was trying to comfort her, I felt hopeless and desperate. I felt as if my wife was drowning in front of me and I was watching her from a window of a prison cell!
That incident was just one episode in our suffering from morning sickness, a condition that affects 70-85% of all pregnant women in varying degrees. My wife was one of those who were destined to suffer from the severe type of morning sickness.
The physical and emotional toll was devastating on us. It made us think again of our plan to have more than one child. For several months, my wife was completely disabled by the condition and was incapable of going about her normal life.
My wife and I are both pharmacists. We had known a good deal of the pathology of morning sickness before experiencing it. But as a result of going through it in real life, we went into a very thorough journey researching the condition. We read hundreds of books, articles and web pages about the subject. We consulted with a dozen of physicians, talked with scores of friends and family members, and exchanged emails and web messages with hundreds of people who suffered from the same condition.
There are few things in this world more powerful than the instinct of parenthood. So we tried a countless number of approaches and remedies. For us, it was our way of refusing to give up on our dream of having a big family.
So eight years and three wonderful children later, we accumulated enough knowledge to be able to share this book with you. With less than a handful of exceptions, everything in this book was either tried by us or experienced by someone we knew first hand.
We have fulfilled our dream but as we look back and reflect, we realize that our journey could have been much easier if someone told us about the remedies in this book.
If you or someone you know is having morning sickness, I have great news. Morning sickness is not unbeatable. Get ready to take charge because the suffering can end.

The Scope!
In most cases, Morning Sickness starts in the early hours of the morning and diminishes as the day progresses. The nausea can be mild or induce actual vomiting. In extreme cases, vomiting may cause dehydration, weight loss, and other complications. This extreme condition occurs in about 5% of all pregnancies. Nausea and vomiting usually begins around the 6th week of pregnancy. It can occur at any time of the day, and for most women it seems to stop around the 12th week of pregnancy.

1 – Gain Perspective
The first thing you need is some perspective. Morning sickness has a strong emotional component and knowing more about the condition can help.
Many women may feel their morning sickness is a danger to the developing baby. There are typically no adverse effects on the baby or mother in the vast majority of cases.
